I thought it was cool. I liked playing with the web...

Megalag wasn't great, way too easy to beat.... the spider was a lot more fun.

Megalegs had awesome music - so it's ok.

I didn't mind the Bowser fights, I like them.

I believe the "real" boss fight is not Bowser, but the castle itself. If you reach Bowser, why struggle through the fight when you had to go through all those obstacles?

Besides, the Bowser fights are always easy... they always were. We just realize it now because we are now more experienced at playing Mario games compared to when we were kids.

Explanation of sig:

I am a Pakistani.....my name is Dan....how hard is that? (Don't ask about the 101...apparantely there are more of me out there....)

They put to many Bowser fights in SMG. Maybe they should of did different bosses then at the end one huge Bowser fight at the end.

I agree.

The way I see it, the boss level of a Mario game is the real challenge.  It's like a gauntlet, with tons of tricks and traps that are not only fun to master, but fun to see in action.  The Bowser battle isn't a challenge, but a reward for surviving the gauntlet.  The Bowser battles are more like a celebratory dance.  You and Bowser go through the motions, show off some moves, and then you get to see the finale.  It's been this way ever since 8-4 in SMB.  The level has a pipe maze, a hammer brother, an underwater section with firebars, and then... you just have to run under him or jump over him once.  But it's still fun and epic and hilarious.

I didn't get to hear it, it takes about 1 minute to beat.... I seemd to take longer the second time though, perhaps I was lucky getting the bullet bills through the revolving cage the first time.
