Not bad at all. Will be heavily frontloaded but good to see 360 get something out of it. 360 might be on top this week if Wii and PS3 don't have any movement from last week.

With 24,584 units sold X360 should be number one selling home console in Japan this week.

Very good for Star Ocean. Selling out your entire first week shipment, and then some, is always a good sign. Hopefully there'll be pent-up demand in Japan on it's second week, and it can manage 40,000+.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

that and 25K 360 for SO4 likely means a little boost in the comming weeks for the other 360 RPGS (provided they are not bought used ^^)

One should note that Tales of Vesperia has continued to sell well into 2009. It's gained another 9,000-odd units since it was last tracked at the end of 2008. At this rate, it may wind up beating Blue Dragon too.

Are you kidding? It's still tracked.

I am referring to Famitsu, outlawuron. Not VGC. Famitsu had it at 161,000 at the end of 2008.

Oops. Sorry, being that we're on VGC. I just assumed.

Nice boost for 360. The Wii will not be the no 1 home console in Japan for a quite a long time now.

The only bad thing about those figures is that 130K of those were sold on day one. Unless its sold out, that doesn't bode well for second week numbers. Sub 30K next week??
