Quantum of solace and deadly creatures are pretty confidential games IMO.

...Confidential? Are you sure you're using the right word?

I agree. It was a great Playstation 1 RPG. How it ever got passed off as a current generation RPG simply baffles me.

Resident Evil 5 hasn't even come out yet, and the demo was fine. You could have picked much better choices but chose this one.

I'm going with Perfect Dark, Need for Speed ProStreet/Undercover (could the series actually get any worse at this point, would it even be possible?), Haze, Lair, Deadly Creatures, Quantum of Solace, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Too Human.

Erm, I think I'll stop there.

Those were all supposed to be AAA games?

Now I really don't understand what AAA means anymore.

When I think of "AAA," I think of high quality. Then again, I could just be crazy. All of those games had the potential to be good (at least in my mind) while having a decent amount of hype.

Deadly Creatures, QoS, and NFS never seemed like AAA games to me, but then again I've never had much interest in them to begin with, so I guess that's why.

Was Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts supposed to be AAA? If so I'm adding that game to the list. =\

Deadly Creatures definitely had some internet hype, considering niche games often end up actually being good (especially on the Wii). Quantum of Solace had a bunch of hype because of the movie (which was both popular, and in my opinion, amazing), plus the Wii version was being hyped for the controls. Need for Speed could have been AAA considering Carbon was actually pretty decent. The series took a real nosedive with ProStreet though.

My standards of AAA are a lot looser than some people's I guess.

-I will have to add Oblivion to this list (I would add Fallout 3, but I knew it would suck so I wasn't disappointed).
-Need for speed (anyone)
-Lair
