Whyt? Everyone that wants the game pretty much already has a ps3 and in this economy they sure as hell are not gonna buy one just for it. I expect 40% increase at most in the week it comes out.

Why are DS and Wii lagging.. yes 360/PSP/PS3 are all down but the Wii and DS moreso.

I suppose that the only thing unusual about this week's sales was how last year compared. Wii only selling 47,702 units last year is pretty crazy (Shortages), as this week's totals outsold it by more than 150,000 units.

Other than that, DS seems to be losing some steam YoY. Then again, DSi is right around the corner. It'll be interesting to see what effect it will have on the sales.

Nice layout on the numbers, Smeags. The early part of this year seems to be slipping into a trend, with profitability being the driving force. Wii is killing it, but then again, last year, it was supply constrainted, but for anybody thiking 2009 would be anything, other than another dominating Wii year...ooops.
