who wants to bet that InFamous will be better?

Most of the time InFamous is considered as inferior to Protoype because it is less gory and brutal and "badass". This is utter BS. Why can't people remember that InFamous was announced prior to Prototype? 

Lets see, we have InFamous, a 1st (or 2nd idk) party Sony game which almost assures quality and Prototype, a game which almost got cancelled ( along with Ghosbusters) but was saved.

I think both will be amazing in their own way, so don't say "Prototype is better = Pwnd" of stuff like that.InFamous has potential to be awesome.

Who wants to bet that InFamous will get better reviews than Prototype and therefore, lead to a higher metacritic average?

Well from what I've seen so far infamous looks undoubtly amazing so does prototype so we don't know how these two will turn out 1 may turn out better than the other or could have the same score who knows so I agree with you that those ppl who are claiming that prototype is better are making me sick as they judge the game by how much blood or gore it has.

I've seen some pretty good stuff on GameTrailers TV. And it has certainly raised my expectations.

And Radical Entertainment the developer of Prototype made the last couple of Crash games. That can't be good can it.

Judging a developers new games by the previous games they made work, but sometimes....thing change. Killzone 2 is what i'm talking about.

On topic : I think the story in InFamous is far more interesting. It has this whole graphic novel thing...its awesome.

In the last video of Protoype I saw, your character has the ability to launch himself 30 feet into the sky and fire rockets down on his enemies at the same time. In the video I saw he just continuously did that same trick until everyone was dead. I have the feeling that Prototype might turn out to be way too easy, and that you could almost run through entire missions/levels just using the same move/trick.

Also, the graphics up close on some of the buildings/scenery in Prototype look very low-res and ugly.

That's not to say Infamous doesn't have similar faults. In most of the videos released he seems to be spamming the same electric attack over and over again, and his aim never seems to be spot-on.

I do feel that Infamous may deliever a better story and all round experience though, with Prototype perhaps offering better short term entertainment.

I hope Infamous will be better, I always want Sony studios games to do well, but we could certainly do with some sort of release date

well...i have only seen stuff of infamous...so im going to say prototype will definately be better.

both games look good and both games will be availiable on playstation 3.

At least it's the release date here in Europe, not sure about the USA.
