Let's say I only can afford 3 and only 3 games. I like the adventure/fantasy games and racing games. In second place, I like fighting games and shooters, specially third person shooters. As you can see, I would have to sacrifice something to start.

What would be my best starter 3 games only combo?

Folklore (very underrated game... and adventure/fantasy fits perfectly)
Burnout Paradise or GT5: Prologue (only have the last one, but heard many positive comments about Burnout)
Uncharted (great 3rd person shooter/adventure, however a little short)

Trying to cover all the genre you mention

Oblivion (at least get this. It'll last you at least 100 hours)
GTA IV (shooter/racer hybrid lol)
Street Fighter IV (haven't played it)
