yes, both are wrpgs. one has a sci-fi setting and one has a fantasy setting...both are good games.

well...the ps3 version apparently runs better, but the 360 version has some exclusive dlc. so if you dont care about dlc, i would recommend for ps3

Well you didnt mention sandbox games but if you did I would have recommended GTA4 wholeheartedly.

Adventure fantasy I recommended Fable 2 because Mass Effect is more sci fi. Yes Oblivion would be my next recommendation.

As for fighting games, look no further than Street Fighter 4.

If you want my opinion on the best ever 3 games I would buy are Gears of War 2, BioShock and Rock Band.

Well, it is a Third Person Shooter and has some Racing, so...

But are you serious? GTAIV over all of the other games listed?

Well you don't buy it for the third person shooter aspect entirely, though I suppose it does fit into the general shooter category. Anyway, while its shooting mechanics are not as good a Gears probably (it is different), but its story is great, and the freedom you get is fantastic, I just love the game, and the lost and the dammed DLC should add to it
