Could you provide an example from another game of the kind of graphics/color palette you would actually prefer to see in KZ2? I get the feeling that we're not really understanding what you mean about the graphics.

I am indeed. Thankfully I can admit this on a message board where no one will believe me. In the future all is shooters with the same gameplay, same game modes and same graphics, except one has slightly better visuals and is lauded. Also ice cream is illegal. Bastards.

I can't imagine KZ2 being set in one type of location i.e. industrial, considering KZ1 had varied environments i.e. industrial and jungle etc.

I like to think of it as a planet type. i.e. like Mars - the planet as a whole is quite similar in the environment. Maybe Helgast is a barren wasteland? The Helgan did have to overcome sickness and disease to survive the environment.

Anyways, from what I have seen. It looks war and that is the game.

I agree, different art styles suit different games. Having a clean setting for KZ 2 would really not work, the game is a brutal one, and it would just not have that atmosphere if it did not have the setting it does, though I would appriechiate some more variety (though I will make proper judgements on that when I have finished the game)
