I made another thread about if the 360 will outsell it for that week if u need tips OPEN ME

According to VGC this has never happened it's lowest was 20,913 for the week ending 2/8/09 and 20,956 for the week ending 10/7/07

It has happened to both the PS3 and 360 all that's left is if the Wii well join them in sub 20k sales and sub 10k but that's not likely yet

We all thought (except me) that the ps3 would of took the top spot from it last week judging by the Japan Preview and maybe the Wii even going below 20k then

i think with the recent release of SF4 on both HD's last week and now with 360's killer Star Ocean 4 bundle released on 2/19/09 that the HD consoles might steal some of the Wii's sales making it fall below the 20k mark that it was able to stay above since launch

if it does happen i will throw a big party wen the #'s are up for Japan

You shouldn't be happy console gaming is doing so poorly in Japan.... if it were the PS3 going up to meet Wii sales then fine, jump for joy.... but being happy about PS3 sales beating Wii when both are doing horridly seems a little odd.

Not really in the grand scheme of things, I am talking about for the generation.... as in both consoles have fallen drastically... the PS3 has managed to keep it's head a bit higher in comparison

As for the Wii below 20k... it could happen quite easily with it being so close. But if it doesn't happen in the near future, it has another shot at it around September-October when the consoles will probably be at their low points for the year.

It may but I hope not cus I hope consoles do well now in Japan

In Japan Wii is pretty much in a drought, its like beating Lance Armstrong in a bike race when he has both his legs broken.

Could well happen. The Wii isn't doing particularly well in Japan of late, but then neither are the PS3 and 360.

I'm really dissapointed in consoles sales, but when they have to compete with the Handhelds I'm not surprised. As for the topic there is a good chance the Wii will go below 20k, and hopefully once some more popular releases come there won't be another good chance for a while.
