Copying Live or Steam would be ideal, though that doesn't integrate well into Wii's vision.

Make the Home screen filled with options that brings together all information and online features of your Wii console: console code, games codes linked to Mii's, Wii Speak. You should be able to chat with your friends online (solving a problem for games that came out before Wii Speak).
Then I would buy Wii Speak.
Wii steam would be the ideal solution for the system online capabilities. Remove the friendcodes, install wiitags, achievements, wiispeak in use even if me and my friend are playing a different game, the release of a HARDDRIVE for demos NINTENDO MOVE YOUR BUTT ALREADY!
But i can only dream about this things on the new system nintendo is making.

This would give them a leg up on the hardcore userbase. I feel they may do this in Wii HD though for selling points and leave the Wii out to dry.
Friend codes are fine, they just need to be able to extend across all games. That would be ideal.
Unified Nintendo Points would be pretty nice, though tying in a DSi with your Wii has the potential for some serious abuse. You could potentially steal someone else's points right out from under them, and I don't think Nintendo will run that risk.
Aside from that... I like the Wii's online experience. It's very clean, it's very simple, and it's very easy to navigate.
Personally i dont play online at all so i do not really care, VC is awesome i just would love to have some storage space so i can get all the games i want.
Plus i would also love it for some sort of DLC for games.

For the unified thing I meant that if you spend some NPs on a purchase on Wii for example you are locked to keep purchasing from the Wii. Why not use the remaining points for either the Wii and the DS if you have one. It creates more revenue for the portable platform.

I understand what you meant - the problem is that in linking the DSi with a Wii, or multiple DSi, you create the potential for abuse.
One friend code.
I have a PC for my online gaming that works well. It's just the damnd FC per game thats a problem.
Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

How so?
