 Didn't realise this until about 5hrs in x_x but now I know it, I don't think I can use it because I have friends who are better SF players than me and laughed because I confessed to struggling against Seth, going any lower than "Easy" seems like the ultimate defeat :D

Is there a way to counter grabs? Seth is really annoying me, I suck as C.Viper even on easiest 1round (yes I gave in) I still can't do it.

Yes I'm a baby, blah blah blah anyway I quit, the game is unnecessarily difficult, "easiest" should be just that, I noticed no difference between that and the higher ranks when facing Seth. This is pure crap, I'm sorry it just is.

I understand that the SF VETs need a challenge but not everyone is Ryu realised, learning curves for the win.

I noticed when playing online, everyone I meet is either Ryu or Ken, I'm gonna guess that's who everyone has played as and yet to try out everyone. As you say, if you are playing with your weaker units YOU WILL NOTICE THE DIFFERENCE.

I guess the reason I'm not liking it is because except for Ryu/Ken...I got nothing.

I suppose I could Spam 100 hand slaps with E.Honda but that won't earn me Cammy so ...:(

Yeah, I'll take a break from the game then maybe come back and just play online matches only.

Hearing the complaints on how hard Seth is I feel honor since I beat him Medium difficulty.

For SF noobs the key is to find weaknesses in the people you are fighting. Seth was vulnerable when stretch punching. After you beat him the first round and he turns on his so called powers take the fight to him and learn his patterns.

I'm enjoying it. Also it is good to use EX moves as they combo at minimum 4 hits.

You can, but it won't work against Seths grabs.  Not the uppercut/teleport/piledriver one he does anyway,

 

Another ignorant thing about this thread. WTF are people worrying about the half-assed single player game for, and why does balance matter at all, really? To "have fun online?"

Honestly, once again, fighters online always suck. No frame counting, no decent competitive play, no control over anything. Fighters have always been about 1v1 or tourney play. You can't expect to not have a cheapass Gon player online, but did Gon ruin Tekken 3?

Flawed logic all over the place. Not pointing at you this time Kylie, but most people on this subject are completely offbase. Think it out, honestly. The specifics don't matter when the base argument is weak.

Getting this game tomorrow, is there a stand our powerful character? Did not seem that wait with the arcade version.
