Just so you know that still includes teaching a man how to "fish".
Basically, I think Halogamer's point in saying that is he wants people to be more responsible and industrious and find a way to be able to feed themselves, such as fishing. Not just rely on someone else to give them fish.

And I think we are way off topic, so I'm off.
Nice talking to ya.

Basically yeah but not so much fishing in general.  It is being industrious and not relying on others 100% of the time.  Sometimes you have to ask for a little help and that's OK but relying on others all the time when someone is perfectly capable of earning an income or getting an education is just plain wrong.

Well you are entitled to your opinion.  I just think it was wrong that the actual women got shafted for the queen to be a man.  That is wrong in and of itself.

How were they shafted? They had the same chances to win as the drag queen and they lost.  He won the vote and they didn't, simple as that.

They didn't get a fair vote in my mind.  Queen should be female, king should me male.

If he wants to run for something that is predominantly thought of as being a title reserved for females I see no problem with it, after that it's just the decision of the people voting on whether or not they feel he's write for the "job".

Can you give me a logical reason that him being allowed to run for Queen is detrimental?

i think you lack the knowledge of transexuality, a transexual is someone who was male or female but choose to become the other sex, they are now considered to be there new choosen gender, so they ARE male or female, they just used to be the other, do you understand?

Queen should be for females only.  None of this cross dress, gender change, or acting biz.  I can see that I am outnumbered here but that is alright.  I will stick to my gut and keep my opinions unwavered.

I guess I don't.  I have a "more conservative" viewpoint on this   No, I was always of the mindset that you are born a male or female and if you change that is fine but you are still a male or female.  No amt of money or surgery can change what you really are genetically.

Well it's great that you can stick to your convictions even in spite of all the opposition that faces you, but if you can't back up your opinions about these things with some kind of logic then people will just presume that you don't like it because it makes you uncomfortable, and that's not a good enough reason.  Therefore you can stick by your convictions all you want, but noone will care.
