It is Emperor Visari from the pre-rendered CG opening to the game. That bit is not rendered real-time during play.

Hmmm...nothing really jumps out as "wow" for me from seeing that. The fact that it has the goofy "Actual Game Footage" across the bottom, while not actually showing what the game looks like while you're playing (i.e. where's the dude's gun? the HUD? Do I play the game as a spinning video camera?) puts me off a little and I probably wouldn't have thought anything of it had they not put that note in.

US ad is 'kay, but this is much better.

You can turn off the HUD, that is why you didn't see it. When I play the demo for example, I turn off the HUD and it makes the game so much better.

Makes sense, but there's still only a brief shot from the actual FP point of view.

Why is there such a long gap in his speech between the words "give him" and "our war"? It is so annoying.

Other than that, a decent advert. Using in game footage is always a good thing. I'm glad they didn't risk going artsy (although I do love Sony's artsy ads (apart from the crying baby)).

Hasn't this been posted before? Prefer the Us version imo though only because I've hyped myself enough to know all about kz2 so the more wacky advert looked cooler. On the other hand this ad will probably make more sense to new buyers.

I agree. They only showed a second or two of the FP point of view, they should have had a little bit more.
