Forums - Sony - Killzone 2 framerate can drop as low as 20fps

I think this is fake. I have never heard of this site. Therefore I trust nothing they say. I saw no drops in framerate while playing the demo.

Also I believe the retail copy is 60 FPS

The game from what I know has been confirmed as 30 fps quite a while ago.

I would say it is because pretty much all games these days, especially those on HD consoles have had some kind of framedrop at some point or another.

...and thus the reason for slow 'weighted' controls.

99% of the demo footage ran at a smooth 30 fps.  Most of the "lag" demonstrations involved shooting a wall while nothing else was happening, so I doubt there was any framerate issues.  Most of the drops in framerate occurred during large explosions, which isn't necessarily a problem since you are unlikely to be shooting/moving during these scenes.  Everyone here is well aware that you really dislike the controls, it is not necessary to bring it up every chance you get.

Amen!

Seriously, he doesn't need to bring this up in every single KZ2 thread on the site and what makes this case even worse that he acts like this is fact when he knows damn well it is a complete fabrication on his part.

He has an obvious agenda and I can't seem to understand why.

I bring it up where relevant.

Fact is the game has a slow pace because of technical problems if it were  pace like most popular FPS games.

edit: Also a big fat LAWL at you trying to say I am making it up.   That is just the most stretched weak piss poor defence imaginable.  Two seconds on google will kill that weak defence.

Keep thinking what you want pal. Until you can prove the game has slow weighted controls due to low framerate then you are the one who is getting LAWLED at.

You said in this thread "... thus the reason for the "weighted" controls."

You implying the entire game runs at low framerate? I don't think so.

So go google for me that this game runs at a low framerate and thus needed "weighted" controls. I doubt you will find it.

Keep trying pal. Your whining it getting tiresome.  Grow up and move on.

MGS4 had some bad framerate problems as well, so I'm not surprised.

No it didn't.

Well, then my eyes must have framerate problems then, because when I played it it sure did

(mostly when several explosions/smoke plumes were occuring at once)

CGI don't bother. Now he thinks the game has Technical Issues and big framerate problems and that GG put "weighted" controls to cover it up.

I have yet to here this from anyone on the net, reviewers and all and I am pretty sure the same goes for majority of the users on this site.

First of all there is absolutely nothing to back that claim up. It is complete fabrication.

He says a 2 second Google will prove him right, yet a 10 minute Google won't even do that. He knows this is 100% bullshit.

I googled "Killzone 2 weighted to mask technical issues" and guess what came up Kyliedog?

NOTHING!

Keep making shit up pal.

Stating things as truth when it is clearly false is trolling. Did you know that?

Keep going, because unlike what you think, I am not the one here being laughed at. I am not the one here pulling shit out of my ass.

You seriously come up with a new excuse everyday.

Why not cancel your pre-order and be done with it already? This game is not COD or Battlefield you need to start understanding that. No matter how much you cry about it, it is not going to change. GG isn't thinking they need to change their vision of a game to suit Kyliedog's tastes.

I'm not arguing with fanboys. Be blind. I do not care.

It is like you jump from one thread to another and think that anything shown in the other thread magically dissapears. You post here acting ignorant when you damn well know you aren't right.

When you lie to yourself and can't even admit it to yourself I fail to see why I should even try and prove it all again. You are stuck in self denial.

If the weighted controls are there because the game is too graphically intense, why does the multiplayer remove said elements and let you run around as if its COD4?Your "fact" Is just you being a retard sorry.
