 Let me guess some unannounced master piece? Yeah right, like Sony has announced every game. MS has no first party studios left to deliver surprise. On other hand Sony still has ton of them.

 

 

Halo OSDT will sell MORE than all of sony's 2009 holiday titles combined. Splinter Cell conviction (a 360 exclusive) will also outsell each and everyone of the titles sony announced.

Sony DID announce all of its 2009 games, unless you believe that they will release more games in 2009, then more power to you. MS has pretty much announced nothing except Halo :OSDT for the holiday of 2009. If you believe that they will release only that for christams 2009 then again...more power to you.

MS doesn't need first party studios, they buy the games they publish and these games actually sell great.

New Ratchet & Clank game durring GDC. Do you realise that SOny has more 1st party and 2nd party studios than MS and Nintendo combined? Who is going to make those "unannounced" games for 360? Ensamble? LOL

HALO ODST will not broad 360 audience it will same to people that already own 360 and besides it isn't even full game!!!

Splinter Cell has yet to be confirmed as 360 exclusive and even if it is, it is not system seller, never was. On top of that we will get Syphon Filter, another PS3 exclusive.

It'll be just like 2008 where they announced Resistance 2, Motorstorm: PR and Siren and released them in the same year.

Cool Beans, Thank you for finding that.  I was browsing for an article.  Cant wait to see what the games are.  I like Sony's plan to release a few big games to keep you accupied every month.

 

No prob. I like what they're doing this year, they seem to have at least 1 big game for every quarter- KZ2 in Q1, Infamous in Q2, Heavy Rain in Q3 and then their holiday stuff in Q4. Last year it seemed all their biggest games came out in Q4.

 

I agree.  I think they shot themselves in the foot releasing like that.  I think if they keep a solid movement in great games year round they will set.  Plus all the titles that are not exclusive are just bonus.  I am interested to see if they go in a different direction with offering new games that turns heads, new controls (much hidden game controller that pops up once every two months), and new services.

OT: My biggest game, HEAVY RAIN of course, Uncharted 2, inFAMOUS, White Knight Chronicles and KZ2 are on top of my PS3 priority list. I believe MAG, GOWIII, GT5 and even Quantum Theory will all end up as 2010 titles, which works for me. Gives us Playstation fans much MORE to look forward to!

It may be best if you don't acknowledge the trolling.  Just ignore him and he will go away.  You may be right about Quantum Theory, but MAG and GoW3 will hit in 2009.  I expect that GT5 will release in the Killzone 2 window (2/2010).

There is no mention of Ratchet either, also because it doesn't exist yet. GDC, I'm thinking. If Trico doesn't show up by GDC, I'm giving up all hope of a 2009 release date.

 

 i saw an interview with kaz hirai, where he confirmed that they were up to something, he alse spoke about him calling them the olympic team as they'd release their games 4 years apart, suggesting that the game might come out in 2009(which i doubt)

The game doesn't exist in that it doesn't have a teaser, or even a name. It is definitely being developed right now, for the PS3, and it may or may not see 2009.
