Forums - Sony - SCEA Announces Planned 2009 Line-up

They should show some MAG if they plan on releasing it this year. Release it in June-August if you can.

Gran Turismo 5 would be SCEJ not SCEA. Thats why it is not there.

If GOW3, MAG, and Heavy Rain all do manage to release this year, that is a pretty stacked line-up.

If Uncharted 2, infamous comes out as well this year that will be a very strong PS3 line up coming from just the first and second party. I cannot see all of those games releasing this year with the main reason being that they will have nothing big for next year and those games will takes sales away from each other.

GOW III and MAG for 2010 with some more games like Team ICO's game being announced for next year . Almost forgot about the big one from Sony which is GT5, Sony will make sure that one releases with absolutely no competition so my guess is soon after E3 this year or spring 2010.

Nothing big for next year?  lulz

Next year we'll see Resistance 3, either GT5 or GoWIII (one will probably hit this year, and one next - though possibly both next), Eat Sleep Play's Twisted Metal (though it might be a PSN title ala Warhawk and Socom), probably something new from Evolution and Sony Liverpool, and - most importantly of all - Trico!

MAG, Uncharted, and Ratchet & Clank will be their holiday line up for this year, and Heavy Rain will probably hit around Q3 (it was originally slated for Fall 2008, after all).  InFamous is still set for May.

They didn't mention Ratchet yet.

Oh fucking hell! GoW3 and MAG this year!

Yeah, I believe SCEA is commenting on games from it's own studio, and games from other territories that already have a date fro SCEA ( like Killzone).

Demon's Souls and White Knight, both of which should be localized this year, are absent from the list as you can see.

What about Ratchet and WKC?

Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,

GDC.

I'm not sure when R&C will be announced, but that'll probably be at GDC as well.
