I'm hoping for a new Studio Liverpool game or 2, they have 2 development teams apparently and with WipeOut HD out, it seems they must be working on something.

They've produced some great games in the past (colony wars, g-police, heck even the original Disc World games) yet in recent years have been just bashing out WipeOuts.

I'd like to see something new from them

Hmm, pie.

New Super Mario Bros 2

I added some of my own predictions in, if you guys disagree let me know!

i really cant believe this is happening....AGAIN

i mean nintendo has already said many times that they use E3 for more casual stuff. so whilst me might see new trailers for S&P2 and maybe pikmin i would expect them to tlak about most core stuff at thier own conferences instead of E3

Well we know nothing of Nintendo's second half so they'll have to tell us sooner or later - why not at E3? The other reason is that E3 is huge this year, just like 2006 and if you have another look at 2006 you can see that Nintendo's Press Conference was amazing. Also they apologised for last years performance so they won't make that mistake again.

Of course there's also the fact that the speculation would be boring if people didn't do just that - speculate!

Sony will announce Uncharted 2.

Microsoft will go on and on about how they are thrashing Sony and also show a bunch of new casual games.

Nintendo will announce that they are releasing no more new games and will just bank on Mario Kart and Wii Fit. Miyamoto comes out and plays tiddy winks with Reggie for a half an hour to kill time.

Essentially Microsoft and Nintendo will switch places from E3 last year.

Microsoft’s price cut has backfired badly, in that they seriously expected the price point to put them in a convincing victory over Wii – but it hasn’t. They have nowhere to go on price and will try really hard to broaden their appeal into the ‘casual’ market.

Trouble is, they don’t understand this market at all, and the results will be deeply deeply embarrassing to everyone.

Nintendo this year will be the one stealing big names, and will try hard to strengthen their core appeal. Something big will be announced that uses the storage solution, something big that uses motion-plus, and there will also be several oddball announcements that don’t look like games but have strong potential.

Sony has the best bet of a good stable E3. Just needs to keep going the way it is going.

Source? I don't at all think they are so stupid as to believe that.

No source. It is just rampant speculation on my part. But, yes, I do believe that they thought that at  the time (and, at the time, it wasn't necessarily as stupid to believe it as it may sound now).
