Basically when people start continuing the things that got their other account banned they ban the alt for the same reasons only it's a permaban instead of a temp because it's an alt.

Still, it sometimes feels like every poster and their pets have alts on vgC.  The names and avatars change but the conversations stay the same.

actually, just the people who get banned have alts and the 1-2 people who have never been banned, but do have split personalities.

I'm unaware of such. I'm kind of still expecting Starcraft to get another ban and blue-lady to be perma'd, but if it doesn't happen I guess it means alts are okay, even when they are used for ban-dodging.

I don't know. The point of moderator activity (warning/ban/etc) is to stop people from being rude or trollish or disruptive IMO. As long as that happens, I don't think anything more is necessary.
