Forums - Gaming - I bought Race Pro...and loving it!

I wasn`t sure about racing games after NFS Undercover and GRID,but I knew SimBin from it`s Pc games so I bought Race Pro...what a good deal. The sound is special and the real track are a treat, the cars are detailed and act real while the tracks are a challenge, you should learn them and trust your driving instincs...yeah,it`s that good.

Sure,I can`t tell you everything except that the game delivers, has splitscreen,12 players on Live and system link multiplayer, time attack, etc.

If you don`t trust what i say,here`s the final trailer -> http://www.gametrailers.com/player/45642.html

Sure, you can also rent the game

So what say you? Anyone full with hype like me? Any thoughts?

Hmm, I love GRID, so will keep an eye on this.
I usually dont buy too many racers per gen though.

Have you noticed that you have grip when you are in a corner in GRID ? It`s not happening in real life...or in Race Pro.

You lose grip when in a corner,so you brake late or you don`t brake but you don`t accelerate also...if you do,you go in the sand (for a little sun tanning,LoL).

It`s fun and the cars (about 50) are different, they accelerate/brake/steer different so you will not be bored. Also the track are bore-less because it`s hard to remember every corner and they change at every event,so...trust you driving instinct more

Cool trailer.

My brother is a huge fan of realistic driving simulations. He's gonna buy it for sure, so I'll have the chance to play it.
Splitscreen sounds great !

another great exclusive for the 360.its looking better everyday

The grip in the corners really depended on the car, though. I hated the BMW with the huge understeer...
Most American cars had lot of traction, but not a lot of power.

I actually loved the subtle mix between arcade and sim. Brilliantly done. Is RacePro more a Sim, I assume?

Yes,Race Pro is a simulator at heart and cars do oversteer if you have the speed you shouldn`t have/didn`t brake when you had the chance. If you want underster, you have to brake, and then steer and accelerate so you can have the inside of the corner...it`s fun, trust me.

What really keeps me playing is the fact that every car feels real and i imagine you will not buy one/drive one in real life (astom martin, viper, audi r8,spiker,M3,etc). So like the logo said..."nothing gets closer"

The $40 price tag has me interested. This may keep me interested until Forza 3 comes out.

@ Stan85

Theres F1 cars in this game right? Cause I got a friend who's been dying for a racer with some F1 cars....

EDIT: Nevermind I checked the trailer....i'm sure hes gonna pick this up, looks great.
