I along with many others was thrilled that Dead Space was coming to Wii.  That changed today when I found out that it's just another lazy on rail shooter effort instead of a third person adventure game.

If any of you want EA to know that maybe 1/10 people are happy about this you will email EA like I did.  It's just one email but if they get enough complaints and backlash (or if they bother to take a gander at how many mad gamers are on the message boards) regarding this piss poor choice we might just get what we want.

That...or save some money and buy a ps360 if you want to play Dead Space.

Can we stop this lunacy. We haven't seen the gameplay at all. For all we know it will be like Killer 7, which also is on rails. On rails doesn't mean Arcade shooter.

wow, you guys don't complain this much when killzone 2 comes out, or Call of Duty 6, or FPS 9348284 comes out.

I've played Dead Space, and Im actually looking forward to the onrails shooter. Neither games will be very scary but this will probably be more fun...

I don't like it either, but this kind of politics is just whiny and annoying. Is this going to happen every time a company makes a game that isn't aimed directly at a certain fragment of the audience?

If Dead Space and Dead Rising Wii suck, fuck it. It's their business, they can make what they like. And I get the feeling that Dead Space will in fact be a good game. If you don't like it though, buy something else.

More and more I get the idea that gamers are like a flock of sheep. Following the popular opinion and hating everything that only slightly deviates from this. Blech. At least the oldschool elitist judged on quality, not on genre. Bring back the old times.

Oh wait, the old times are already here with House of the Dead Overkill! Yeah! Oldschool hardcore FTW!
