I'm definitely gonna get one! This would be my second DS purchase. I bought one back when the first one came out, before the DS Lite.

Actually, not for me. So far I've bought a DS, and and DS Lite. I suppose I'm just a collector, I love getting all the new stuff I guess.

I'll get one eventually, but the fact that the battery life is half the length of the DS scares me. Hopefully they've increased it.

I won't miss the GBA slot, and I'm looking forward to the larger screens, better sound, and downloadable games--especially the prospect of a 'handheld' Virtual Console, containing Game Boy, GBA, Game Gear, and perhaps even the Atari Lynx (which I've never tried).

 Actually, as long as you're not using the new super-high brightness setting, the battery life is about 75% of the DS Lites's.

The DSi is sounding more PSP-like every time I hear about it.

I'll stick with my DSL, thank you very much.
