not a single person came in to get KZ2 in walmart when I was working... a few were looking for SF4 though

I think it will give it a bump in places like UK where there is a bundle out for it. If i didn't already have a PS3 i might have been tempted to go for it. But i think they could of done a bit more with it. A few weeks ago we had bundles where you could get a 80GB PS3 with LBP,Far Cry 2 and a Blu Ray film with remote. All for £299. If the bundle swaps to just KillZone 2 and the PS3 for £299 i think it won't shift as many as it could if it kept either a Blu Ray film with remote and another oldish game in the bundle.

The reality is the game is not this all amazing genre changing FPS game that so many claimed it would be. Reviews are very good for the game but it is now out scored by SF4. I think that game has got the potential to be massive so that could damage sales of KZ2.

So i would expect WW sales for the PS3 to bump a bit, but i also expect the 360's numbers to bump a bit to, so it will cancel each other out.

Primarily due to the fact that Killzone 1 did'nr get great reviews and was not picked up by a mass audience...so it doesnt have a HUGE fan base lets say as Halo?

Halo 1 did'nt sell many Xbox's back in the day...when Halo 2 was released Xbox numbers increased sales wise....then the real console seller Halo 3 was released and it sold 360's like hotcakes :p...

What Im trying to say is that in order for it to be a system seller it would have had to acquire a huge fanbase prior to this sequel

Why not make a killzone 2 bundle for the largest gaming market in the world.....north america.

But as Killzone 2 = amazing as reviews confirmed....killzone 3 on Ps4 will be a system seller

All of you are forgetting something very important. Yakusa 3 japan release its in the same week (02/26) , that can push the PS3 over 40K units in Japan.

darthdevidem01 - I don't know where I read it, but I heard the original Killzone went on to sell 2 million units. Definite flop in term of gameplay though.

imo, total world wide sales will be minor, as for the game it self......
