Power of a GameCube? I never knew it could do Super Mario Galaxy level graphics.
Look at the second video I posted, the PS2 was able to have 100 enemies on screen at the same time.

Yeah. PS2 was able to do that but the zombies were more of statues that move than creatures with own will.

They weren't zombies, they were living people. And the zombies in Dead Rising Chop Till You Drop are like statues, see first video.

Still the power is much much less compared to the HD consoles.
The PS2 video is irrevelant,it's a PS2 game running on the PS2 while Dead Rising is a Xbox360 game on the Wii.

Could a game like Dead Rising work on the Wii? Yes. But for some reasons Capcom did not want that.
