I am with Capcom on this one,i think it's stupid that people assume they would reduce the number of zombies on the screen on purpose just to piss Wii owner off.

They are trying to port a 360 on a console that basically have the power of a Gamecube,of course it will be dumbed down people.

Power of a GameCube? I never knew it could do Super Mario Galaxy level graphics.

Look at the second video I posted, the PS2 was able to have 100 enemies on screen at the same time.

Still the power is much much less compared to the HD consoles.

The PS2 video is irrevelant,it's a PS2 game running on the PS2 while Dead Rising is a Xbox360 game on the Wii.

Yeah. PS2 was able to do that but the zombies were more of statues that move than creatures with own will.

They weren't zombies, they were living people. And the zombies in Dead Rising Chop Till You Drop are like statues, see first video.

An Xbox360 game running on the Resident Evil 4 engine.

Could a game like Dead Rising work on the Wii? Yes. But for some reasons Capcom did not want that.

The first video show what happen when they try to put too many Zombies on the screen, their A.I are so bad that they make No More Heroes town people look like genious.

Also you can't compare Hitman and Dead Rising together since they are both different game for different system and different generation,i could have said that Dead Rising on the 360 can pull off alot more Zombies if that PS2 game can pull off that many people on the screen to but like i said it's 2 totally different game for 2 different system.

Sorry but in the end i will take Minoru Nakai words over yours,he made the game and RE4 so the guy obviously know what he is talking about.

Regardless of reviews I am going to buy this game to add in my collection//I have not played the 360 version of it//so input saying the Wii version is dubbed down is something that I cannot really judge at but to tell you the truth I clearly think Capcom just ported this over for short bucks and to gather some fans on the console for hopefully a Dead Rising 2 port on the Wii.

The Hitman video is using an illusion of that many. They aren't really moving either, just doing a couple stock movements. And as soon as you start mowing them down, whole clusters disappear.

As for the tunnel driving, it could be that they just look still because you are moving so fast. Let's see someone driving at a lower speed. If the zombies are still not moving, then it's a screw up.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Capcom has been trying hard to make excuses as to why they shouldn't take the Wii seriously. "Oh, we tried hard on that game, but look how it came out. This is because the Wii isn't capable of anything worthwhile! And look how it sold! Terrible, terrible. Let's ignore that system."

so ya, i may actually get this game. yes it'll be way different from the original, but that doesn't mean it will be bad. it'll be more "horror" and less "mowing downs tons of pitiful defenseless zombies like there's no tomorrow".

so you didnt find any of the freaky humans in the horror genre ... the clown dropping the chainsaw wasnt horror? how about the nam vet talking about watching his granddaughter die after he hunted you down. I feel that game was first rate horror. the zombies added to the effect... where the wii version thats an excuse to avoid making the new one good. they took the camera out ... really why even call it dead rising why not something else cause its not the first game with frank west its a rip off  a shoddy rippoff that looks like the kinda thing you find when browsing the counterfeit markets of shanghai

Dead Rising Wii had loads of Potential but from the beginnig it was obvious that it is a poor effort from Capcom, they simply did not put enough funds and enough talent into that title. Dead rising on the 360 was good, and Wii version made differently (with different engine as well) could've been as good, where lack of visuals would be replaced by amazing controls yet Capcom simply wanted a cheap cash in not a good game.

I really like games that capcom have put on the wii so far, they did not give us SF IV and RE 5 they should at least try harder with this one.

"where lack of visuals would be replaced by amazing controls"

What? How do yo know this isn't going to be like that? That is actually one of the things Capcom stated they were going for.
