Hmm... Let's check, how bad is the Ps3 doing?

 

60k is the average over the last 2 weeks.

 So... Except for the early high sales in 08, the GTA IV boost, the MGS 4 boost, and christmas, this is the level it has been at since the start of 08? I never would have guessed...

 

But really, that there isn't a good measurement.

 

Let's rather take the average sales in 08, for the 10 first months of January.

 

Total sales: 2742K

Number of weeks: 42

Average weekly: 65K

 

Whoa! No way! The Ps3 has been at these levels for a year?

 

Yeah, they have. Has anyone been paying attention? These are the levels the Ps3 is at in Americas.

 

Considering the lack of new releases, it's actually doing rather well. Not well, but somewhat well. Well.

Wii and Ds looking amazing as always

360 doing solid, nothing mind blowing but also not bad

PS3 needs a price cut REALLY bad, KZ2 will only give it a bump, nothing long term.

will be interesting to see if the K2-release will push the PS3 past the Xbox360 for one week in NA. I have my doubts.

True, the situation has changed. The ps3 is selling less this January than it did last January. And the sales have been flat and will only continue to decline unless something major happens. And that is not a pricecut because MS can pricecut at anytime sony does.
