I don't think it'll be something super big. Last time there was all that hulabaloo, and it turned out to be extra information on Sonic Unleashed.....which I enjoyed, but it wasn't anything to cause a hulabaloo over.

What are you talking about, they gave Okami 95% and said it was "one of the best games ever". You don't remember correctly!

Still, they do have exclusive screens of Mario and Sonic, not just the CGI stuff but actual in-game footage of it on Wii and DS. It doesn't look bad.

 You are aware that, for Nintendo Power, Mario & Sonic 2 information early, or before anyone else, would be far, far larger than Kingdom Hearts 3, right?

Not sure, but I believe Nintendo Power still has over 500,000 subscribers (they had more than that when I subscribed... In 1998 (or was that something else? :P). The majority of those are probably unaware of what Kingdom Hearts is, and they're at least not interested.

Mario & Sonic is one of the biggest things they could possibly have! It's on par with Smash Bros. and Mario Kart.

I don't want and I don't like anymore Mario&Sonic and anything similar with the only objetive of making easy money based on marketing.

Nintendo Power should know that we (users) care about quality games and that the majority of us are tired of receiving more and more party games. How can they treat that game as such a big announcement? After all the users critics about last E3, about the bad image the Wii supposed to be a console only for casual gamers (I know is not true)....Come on Nintendo, are you kidding us or is that you do not listen Nintendo fanboys. Why we have already seen Mario & Sonic and anything about Zelda....there is not going to be a new hardcore IP? Not even Kid Icarus? Something else, something new....something of QUALITY.

Anything having to do with Sonic is not big news.. there are 5 Sonic games released every year.. I wish the gaming press would stop treating it like its the second coming of jesus or some shit like that.

Most magazines are bought by "casuals". That's certain. I assume the same is the case for Nintendo power so.

They care for the majority of their readers, and they take the info they get.

Are you talking about the "Sword silouette"? That was for Sonic and the Black Knight. That's what everyone thought was Kingdom Hearts III.

I really can't believe that other platforms have had titles such us LitteBigPlannet, Killzone 2, Fable 2 or Gears of War 2 and on Wii Nintendo only have launched titles like WiiMusic or AnimalCrossing.

And yes, I don't think Nintendo has done a great effort to make AnimalCrossing. In fact, I haven't played the game, but clearly it is not at the same level than killzone, gears 2 or fable 2.

Yes, I am a totally Nintendo fan since I was a child, and I still am. But I am the Nintendo fan who enjoyed playing Ocarina of Time, almost cried when finished Super Mario 64, did the levels of Perfect Dark in the harder level of difficulty (the same for GoldenEye), considered Majora's Mask a personal and amazing title.....and was expecting all Nintendo announcements with enthusiasm.

In fact, I still have a little hope that this year Nintendo will reconsider the treat they are giving to the hardcore fanbase and make some announcement related to Zelda or some major IP.
