I think we should have an option to let there be voices and even a difficulty setting why their at it. That would probably make everyone happy.

His cries are more than enough.
Quem disse que a boca é tua?
Qual é, Dadinho...?
Dadinho é o caralho! Meu nome agora é Zé Pequeno!
Link talking is a no, as other people pointed out, silent player characters work fine in other games. I do believe the Zelda series needs full voice acting though, and as long as it's professional and a high standard, I'm all for it.
No, just no.

Bowser talks, Snake talks, why the fuck cannot Link talk? Even Mario talks some words...
But if anything, we are going to see Samus talk first.
No, hell no. Once voices get into the world of Zelda it's all over!
To be honest, I'd like it if the game stopped being so cinematic. Not sure if it was just Twilight Princess, but it feels too slow (especially at the beginning). Being less reliant on text should help with the "problem" (as well as make it more accessible). Does anyone think voice acting in A Link To The Past would have helped the game?
Anyway, voice acting in Zelda would be like putting English voice acting into the Team Ico games. That'd just destroy the atmosphere.
As for Link himself, I just prefer him being silent.
Hell NO, why? beacuse no one and I mean no one can ever have the "right" voice for that character.
If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing

And shepherds we shall be,
For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints
