The great thing about Legend of Zelda games is it continues to be one of the storied franchises in the gaming industry. Its not like those franchises that remain in the game industry and not have a decent title in almost five years. Legend of Zelda is legendary franchise which is most notable for its incredible soundtrack and amazing gameplay. Since the beginning of the series, the main character, Link, has never said a word in any of the games. Sure, you have heard him yell when he jumps over a rock or is engaging in a boss fight. However, you never heard him ever say a sentence or anything for that matter.

The question is do you think he should start talking in future Zelda titles?

I personally say no because that's what make his character unique from other protagonist in other games. Well, besides the outfit he has, I think him not saying a word or talking in cutscenes is one of things that makes the game great. Its just like ask if Mario should start engaging in conversations with Luigi in Smash bros. Yeah, it sounds crazy, right?

Anyways, I just want to know what my fellow VGChartz users think.

No, that would be like Mario talking. It's better if they don't say much.

Nah, its party of the series now that Link is a mute.

No, if the Main characters start talking, they won't feel the same again.

No I think he shouldn't say a word... Only his usual fight screams and such. Other characters is fine... Though reading never bothered me, I'm not lazy and unimaginative like some others (I'm looking at you, game reviewers).

No, Link talking would seem so wrong. His cries are enough.

No.. that would be awful like it was in the LoZ cartoon. Link was meant to be a silent hero and should always be one.
