Forest Temple in Ocarina of Time. Music was great and the final boss was gorgeous.

Yeah, the forest temple in Ocarina of Time was amazing with all its twisting hallways. I remember how scared I used to be of the wall masters there lol.

Currently Playing: Mario Kart 7, Mario Kart 8, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Super Smash Bros for Wii U

Predictions:

Super Mario Galaxy will pass Super Mario 64 in total sales CORRECT!

Rockvale from Majora's Mask. Best designed level/dungeon ever - it was ingenious.

After that, I'd say the Forest Temple in Ocarina of Time - twisty hallways FTW.

The Ice temple in A Link to the Past.

Really most temples in A Link to the Past are awesome.

as far as scares are concerned the shadow temple ftw.  Blood on the walls, the zombie dudes with the wooden masks, and finally the amazing boat ride.  The boss was also pretty creepy.  That temple was awesome.

The water temple in Majora's Mask was pretty inventive; also, I have very fond memories of that one dungeon in Windwaker with the large cylindrical center chamber and a huge fan at the bottom that you could ride back to the top using the leaf -- what would one call that dungeon? I don't even remember where it fell in the overall arc of the game.

Damn, I have work to do but now I'm tempted to finally start a new game in MM (on the Gamecube Zelda Collection), a title I've been meaning to replay for ages now.
