Both this and the K2 thread have me shaking my head. Especially for the latter where every other review was a 9 and 10 with a few 8's.

7 out of 10? It seems reviewers keep rating Halo higher than it deserves.

this reviewer wouldnt know a great game if it smacked them in the face, they are a bunch of idiots.

The reason that people are considering this a hammering review is because of all the idiots that rated games 10 of 10. The only game reviews that I even consider to be close to accurate are the ones that rate several aspects of the game, and then average them together for the final rating. Seven is still respectible in my book. A really good game should rate somewhere in the 8s. Only the truly great games, epic games, ground breakers, should be in the realm of the 9+. It all has to do with hype and who can get their reviews read.
