Mines is Xenogears.the story was so complex and deep and so emotional.words can not express how amazing this story was.

Hehe I totaly agree, no game have ever come close to Xenogears.

Oh wait one have but that is Xenosaga 1-3

 

Wonder if it beacuse of that that my three favorite female characters are:

1: Elhaym(Elly) My avarat

2: Shion

3: Kos-Mos



If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

Neverwinter Nights and Planescape: Torment - non-cliched, great storylines.

Final Fantasy VIII - Maybe not the story itself, but the amazing presentation. The way the story was told/shown, especially during the 1st disc, is simply amazing.

xenosaga does not even come close to xenogears.but i understand why you like it.the team who wrote the story for xenogears also wrote the story for xenosaga

I like cliched and traditional stuff.

Ms Saga: A New Dawn is my favorite. The Sephiroth clone, captain Hal, even joins your party later on when you beat him.

To me is does not matter as long as its well told, is very complex, and has plenty of plot twist.It also has to be deep and emotional and is driven by a cast of lovable characters.Im a fan of character driven stories
