With such an atmospheric, heavily story driven game like Bioshock I don't know if such a thing would be possible. Even if it had nothing to do with the first HD game, the fact that it uses the same name means comparison is inevitable.

If they were to make a brand new, wii-only game they may as well sever all ties and make it a new ip.

Clearly Bioshock is coming to the Wii. 2K could never want a programmer who had only worked on the Wii to work on another platform -- so why else would they put it in the job requirements?

Time for a party. Who is buying the beer?

I hope they do it. Just so we can laugh at all the losers crying about it.
If you got the better version of the game 2 years ago why do you care? Especially the people who hate the Wii.

This is a pretty big jump in logic. They advertise for a 'next-gen' programmer, mention Wii as a 'next-gen' console - and next, Bioshock is announced for Wii?

They do have Wii projects in the works. This means nothing.

I doubt it would happen but would be interesting to see how they would do it. As some have already said, though, I'd rather see a spinoff or a new version for the Wii rather than a port like Dead Space on Wii.

Not all of us have the money for a second console right now.  Why can't we enjoy those games as well?  As long as it's not done at the expense of games like Madword etc...
