Forums - General - Futurama!

My roommate is one of those guys who has dual 40" flatscreen TVs for monitors and a 1 TB+ hard drive (I'm not joking either). He knows that my girlfriend and I watch a lot of Futurama. Yesterday, he handed me a DVD and said it was the new Futurama movie. It's not quite the final version because the menus don't have sound and there are no special features, but the movie was finished. It was sweet.

Haven't seen the movie, but I love the show. Almost as much as Family Guy.

Nintendo still doomed?
Feel free to add me on 3DS or Switch! (PM me if you do ^-^)

I watched it today, and my god, what a horrible mess of a film. The ending was the worst cop out I've ever seen, and I laughed only a few times the entire film. I hate to say it but, Futurama is long dead.

None of the movies were any good, they are decent if you don't consider Futramas history, but looking at these movies in comparison to the show makes them look like hot piles of trash. It's depressing really, I thought Futurama was the one cartoon that wouldn't get worse as it aged, but it succumbed to the same fate as Family Guy and the Simpsons.

I guess I'll have to stick to watching the show over and over again until I go insane.

Sweet! Bender's Game has been my favorite so far. I'll have to check it out!
Hey! mayube I can "buy it for my wife" for Valentine's Day!

The other 3 have been worth watching but not the same as the episodes imo, but I'm still looking forward to watching this one!

While I agree that the episodes are far better than any of the movies, Into the Wild Green Yonder was the best of the movies by far.  It was the only one that even came close to capturing the feel of the TV show.

I enjoyed them all. I was initially let down by Bender's Game and Beast With A Billion Backs, but after re-watching them, listening to their commentary, and watching them again, I really grew to enjoy them. The first one was still my favorite, though. I hope the latest (and rumored to be the last) film is as good as you say. I can't wait to watch it.
