This really shows how bad Wii U is doing compared to Gamecube, over 1 million behind in the US. Ill give Wii U the benefit of the doubt tho, Gamecube was much cheaper and had a better line up by this time in its life.

Gamecube launched $199 and by the end of 2001 already had Luigi's Mansion, Smash Bros, Wave Race, Pikmin, Rogue Squadron. 2002 had a price cut to $149 in May and games like Sonic Adventure 2, Resident Evil Remake+Zero, Eternal Darkness, Star Fox Adventures, Super Mario Sunshine, Animal Crossing, Metroid Prime, Mario Party.
