no, I just cant see myself spending $3000 on an entire new build since this desktop is going to my sister once I go Intel.

AMD upgrades are cheap solutions to minor problems.

But I have officially declared AM3 useless to me. The 7750BE dropped $20 so I'm going with that. for $65 and a 1000 point increase in 3DMark06 I;m there for that cheap.

It may be a neat idea to do what I'm considering, since yu have a 360 (or do yu just have that one game?) than get a racing wheel and some racers for it.
The Logitech one, I hear, works with all of them and PGR4 is now $20 brand new. Yu can find 3 (still good) in a sin bin for like $4. Race PRO is coming out and that looks like it will be tailor made for a wheel. So that what I think.

ssj12, I would have to suggest you save the money instead. Of course, your situation is most likely not like mine (studying and down on money), but if I got money back from the government, I would rather use it to beef up my buffert/savings account than buying a console.

I want a Wii badly, but I have other interests that take priority. Knowing I'll be able to purchase food, for one.

Wii for the JRPGs. If you're not into JRPGs, I would pass, personally. If you like JRPGs, you will probably be happy. Most other genres, outside of "the Mario genre", and fitness, are better on the HDs, IMO.

Honestly I don't see how anyone thinks games like The Conduit are going to realistically compare to good HD shooters, if you are a multi-console owner. JRPGs, on the other hand, are definately not anywhere near as prone to tech-aging -- the Wii will probably end up a stellar JRPG platform after the year is out, and it puts some quality roots down.

We're heading deep into a recession, save the money. You may need it for more important things in the future.
