Just wondering, why would you choose a am3 over and Intel motherboard?  Are the new Phenoms that great?

 

no, I just cant see myself spending $3000 on an entire new build since this desktop is going to my sister once I go Intel.

AMD upgrades are cheap solutions to minor problems.

But I have officially declared AM3 useless to me. The 7750BE dropped $20 so I'm going with that. for $65 and a 1000 point increase in 3DMark06 I;m there for that cheap.
