1, not everyone has a HDTV which is the reason Nintendo didn't put HD in their console. Also HD isn't cheap.

 

2. The SD cards are fine for memory. pretty much if you just play wii games on your wii. The Console memory should be fine. SD card IS great for VC and wiiware games and has lots of space for them.

 

3. No, third parties joke with the Wii just like they did wih cube. More power isn't the answer. The ps2 kicked the living crap it wasn't as powerful as the cube and xbox. We just need a third party tp prove the is good more 3rd parties. HVS and sega might that answer.

This is a good point.  It's unfortunate that people feel the need to pick a side and defend it to the death and not give anything else much of a chance.  And even more unfortunate that some of these people will go to the extent to find or make up reasons to downplay the other options.

I've been gaming for a long long time...and I just love playing the games and it doesn't matter to me what system they are on.  It shouldn't matter to anyone that fancies themselves a gamer, and its really unfortunate and unhealthy for our small population.

My advice, don't let it bother you and certainly don't allow yourself to become narrow-minded.  Be willing to look for all the great gaming experiences that can be had...on all the different consoles.  There's no reason to miss out on a great game because you have to choose a side and put up blinders.

I don't think we'll ever reach the point in this gen where a 360 owner will be in such awe of the Wii library that he/she would want to switch the two.
It simply lies in the nature of the buyers of both respective consoles, as should be evident in the bestsellers on both platforms.

I prefer having good online play, awesome graphics and dual analog so Ill stick with my 360.

lol, dont take his shit. people like that are morons, nothing you can do about it. its all about opinion. in his opinion the 360 is better. in my opinion, the 360 is crap and i love the wii.
