Given how verbose my posts tend to be, I thought it clear that when I say "Nuh-uh" that it is supposed to be satirical of my normal behavior - I am essentially making fun of myself, while also not going through the rounds of stating an argument over again.

I apologize if that was unclear. I did not mean to come across as rude.

That said, it's not a backstory war. The Chief's backstory establishes his physical abilities, and why he would be so hard to kill.

Can we finally agree that they are both on par and we can end this pointless argument?

While I agree that the argument is pointless, no, they are not on par. The Chief can lift over half a ton over his head and throw it, can run at the speed limit on some highways, has a reaction time fast enough to dodge a bullet based on the trajectory of the gun, and has a skeleton that can't be pierced by ballistic weaponry. On top of that, he's trained in hand-to-hand combat at least as lethal as Snake's, probably moreso.

No, they are not on par.

CQC was not created by The Boss and BigBoss. It's a martial art primarily focused on self defense, but can be lethal. The actual military trains in it.

I think they're both great.
