I borrowed my friends copy of Zelda Lttp when i was like 14 and while i was riding my bike home it fell out of my pocket into a puddle and then i ran over it with my back tire. All i did was wipe the mud off of the sticker (not even the connectors) and it worked. He never ever knew the horrible thing i did to one of his most precious possesions.

Hopefully your game will still work too. Nintendo makes some pretty durable carts.

One of my brothers ran over a SNES game with his car. On purpose. Also had several games missing the plastic casing so it was just the metal cartridge. They all still worked though ocasionally you'd have to remove all the dust. He's a bit of a rage gamer. At one point he had around 20 empty boxes of SNES controllers because he would break them.

To cash in my CC rewards points for $300 in Circuit City gift cards to purchase a 360 or not: That is the question.

Like another user said just leave is somewhere warm to dry out for a long time....that's days rather than hours and my guess is it will be ok.

Or buy another copy and return your washed copy demanding your money back from the store for selling such shoddy goods!!

Hey stof, I think the game should be fine if you give it a couple days to dry out.

I about killed our cat one day. I had my wife's DS and my DS charging on the kitchen counter over night. Well, next to them, was a full glass of water.  My wife placed it there, and forgot about, before going to bed. During the night, my cat knocked it over, and I woke up to both our DS's soaking in about a 1/5" of water. I picked them up and water was draining out of the cracks. So we let the DS's dry for a week before we turned them on. Mine worked absolutely fine. My wife's works fine, but loses system memory every time it's turned off.

I thnk your game should be fine 8)

Don't run it through the dryer. It may build up a static charge and zap itself. Let it dry for a very long time, then try it. It should work fine, I've run my flash drive through the washer and dryer multiple times without losing any data or functionality.

What brand of flash drive do you use? I did the same thing and lost about two weeks of work for my opinion research class.

I have an old Geek Squad 512 MB that I got with a hefty employee discount when I used to work there.  I wouldn't recommend that you put any brand through the washing machine though, you're rolling the dice no matter what.

I left my DS cartridge on a nuclear testing site and it still works. I here the army is developing body armor out of DS games...

Sarcasm/

Psst, the slash goes on the otherside.

Must..wash..away..the sin..of advance wars...Epic move Stof. You take "erase save game" to another level.

Truly a fine specimen of Nintendog. Introduce him to your Pirate friends.

Wow, you guys are hilarious!

Generation 8 Predictions so far.....(as of 9/2013)

Console that will sell most: Nintendo Wii U

Who will sell more consoles between Microsoft/SONY: SONY

I borrowed my neighbor's GBA Sonic game. I left it outside in May.

Around September I was in my backyard, I bent down to pick up something and by accident my eyes fell across a gray triangle sticking up in the mud. It was the top 20% of the cartridge, one of the corners, the rest was in the mud. I picked it up and found it to be covered in caked on mud and slime. I took it home and opened it up to find the entire inside full of mud and plant matter. I washed the chip under running water using my fingers to rub it clean. I dried it with a towel and tried it out. It worked flawlessly.

I really wasn't surprised, Nintendo builds it stuff like a tank:

Ok, I haven't tried it out yet, but before I do, is there an easy way to pop DS carts open?

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.
