It is not just that is a violent game, but much of the focus of the game is on portraying the brutality of many of these violent acts, and I just don't feel that the same feeling would be felt on the Wii, and of course the huge number of different gameplay modes, many of which might not suit the Wii, because I am not sure how easy it would be to drive and shoot at the same time I don't think LBP would work so well on the Wii. The major emphasis is on sharing, and that would not be helped by the friend's code system. While Nintendo could take advantage of all their franchises to make great DLC, I don't think the user created levels would be as easy to share with friends, but it could definitely work with the Wii, but of course it has the slight obstacle of the fact that it was published by Sony |
GTAIV would not be close to the most violent game on the Wii. Manhunt 2 is way worse (in every sense) but the brutality aspect worked out. I can't imagine the shooting aspects being worse without the curse of dual analog, but I don't know what specifically your complaint is.
LBP would not be harmed by friend codes necessairily. There is no requirement to use the friend code system. EA uses a completely different system, so there is nothing stopping the other publishers from following suit. I think it requires a speerate server set-up, but I do not recall the specifics.

The brutality of the violent acts can be reproduced on Wii with no problem. The Godfather: Blackhand Edition is a great example of that. Banging a store owner's head on a counter couldn't be as much fun with a button press than by actually making the motion with the Wiimote & nunchuck.

I did not mean that, I meant that when you shoot someone in the head, the realistic way in which they slump back and the blood spills is meant to make you feel bad about killing that person. In this game, there are points where you get to choose whether or not to kill someone, and you are meant to feel bad for killing them. There are later points where you have to choose someone to kill, and it is quite a difficult decision, and you do feel it more seeing the brutality and cruelty of what you have done
It would simply not have the convenience. I have added many people from here, so I can just look through my existing list to look at their levels rather than having to add everyone again

As for the aiming, I would assume you would use the motion controls to steer the car, and then how are you going to shoot? Or you have to use the nunchuck to steer the car, and then shoot using the wiimote, but that sort of defeats the point of the Wiimote if you are not going to drive the car with the nunchuck. Most people have no problem with the dual analogue system, I think it is great
Also this GTA has got rid of many of the pop-up problems (PS3 version played) and I think returning to the Wii would cause more problems with draw distances. I think a port of SA would be far more appropriate as GTA IV takes a much darker tone, which would not work as well with inferior graphics. The more cartoony GTA games of old would be a better fit
