From what I have seen, Dead Rising has little chance of being as good as RE 4 wii and if it ends up bombing, could this prove that Capcom is losing dedication to Nintendo's platform? There is little argument that Capcom sides with HD consoles more with the releases of Lost Planet and DMC 4, but if that company decides to stop developing for that platform, Nintendo would lose alot of thunder with the hardcore crowd.
You cannot deny that the Resident Evil series made a big impact on the Gamecube's library.

I don't think if it bombs it will be a sign of Capcom losing dedication, it will just be a game that bombs. Dead Rising Wii is nothing more than a quick grab for cash that when first planned was a no brainer cash cow, now it's a giant risk.

I gotta call it being nothing more than that. They are dedoing the game. A quick cash-in would mean something that can easily be done. Considering they were remaking a game that required a whole extra CPU core just to run its AI onto a single core system, this could not have been a no brainer.
The game could suck, but don't assume Capcom is just doing this for a quick buck. They have game collections for that.
This game likely didn't cost a lot to make, but that's not a cash-in. That's because they have most of the assets already made. It was just a matter of remaking the models for both the engine, and the Wii specs.
