GameReactor review - Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop

A 7 out of 10 isn’t horrible…it’s actually pretty good. I’m still a bit miffed after that maintenance tunnel video though… Thanks to Eternal Rain for the heads up!

Gamereactor tend to be very harsh on the shitty games, from what I've seen ... Maybe this game won't be so bad.

Pelaajalehti ( secong biggest gaming magazine here) gave it 3/10. =S

I want some of what that reviewer was smoking.

I'd expect very mixed reviews for this. It looks like it could be fun for other reasons, like the new enemies they added and more aggressive zombies. When judged simply as a 'game' and not as a comparison to the 360 version, who knows how it might turn out?

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

This is bound to be compared to the 360 version and from the looks of it, it doesn't deliver.

@ Dark Prince, have you tried Left 4 Dead?!

it's a wii game review please ignore.

Yep, i really liked it too.

3/10? Thats like worse than Tenchu with the 4 or DC with the 5. Dodgy

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

I expect this game will get wildly diffrent review scores.

A lot of people seem to be struggling with the idea that this is intended to be a very diffrent game to the 360 version.

The reviewers point of view will be just as important to the score they give as the game itself.
