This is why I tend to prefer Wind Waker's water.

I liked the water in RE4 in the fight against El Lago
Also the fishing pond in Twilight Princess
ok watched videos of the uncharted and holy shit is that HORRIBLE water physics. Apparantly that skeedoo or whatever weights absolutely nothing. Wave Rave on GC owned it in physics.
Sure uncharted, and crysis looked the most realistic. but once you start affecting the water it is fake. And fallout video looked like shit. It was a generic constant ripples.
So far the most impressive water I have ever seen in a game (both at the time and presently) is Pikmin. The little creeks are so real looking it's incredible.

I have Bioshock at home...
I have Uncharted...
I had Waverace back in the old days...
but... nothing comes close to BANJO-KAZOOIE NUTS&BOLTS water. Period.
Mix of Waverace and "Kameo water" in the same game in High-Definition!
Awesome water physic. Waves and sun reflections... etc.
Seeing this water in motion is... breathtaking.
Rare dit it again.
Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal....
Or Uncharted... that works too...

"Water? Who gives a shit about water?"
I'm gonna go with Uncharted.
command and conquer for the n64's water was extremely eye catching. Duke nukem 64's water also rocked.
even though is nor realistic, but it's awesome in it's simplicity
