Crysis, for sure.

Uncharted real time water...sorry don't know how to embed from GT.

I'd have to see it again, but I thought the water in Crysis was pretty realistic. Anybody remember the mini-game in Mario Party 4 where you had to do bounces on a raft to make waves to knock off a player in the middle? I recall that having realistic water.

I would nominate Resistance 2's water and how awesome running through it or watching a fury swim through it looks, but explosions in the water and the fact that you can't really see past the surface it if you're in it kind makes me think otherwise.

I was impressed with Bioshock's.

so ill say Bioshock.

But interectivity of bioshock's water is almost ZERO!!!

It looks good, but tham, objects on it make absolutely NO ripples....

ripples dont impress me.

But makes it look more realistic... When you dive te water doesn't move? Stay moving normaly like anything is moving through it? NO!

Crysis and Crysis Warhead

For people bringing out CRYSIS:

Crysis water looks good, but physics on it don't. See the video below:

The water moves naturally, when the dude throws objects it just keeps moving that way and appear some designed white effects. Understand what I am talking about?

Let's take a look at Fallout 3 water:

The interaction level is much more high then Crysis...
Do you guys understand it?

Uncharted gets my vote. That game had some awmazing effects.

Btw, it's not fair to compair a PC to a console.

I don't know why people tell me to get a life. I'm a gamer, I have lots of lives!

Honestly, I would take the water in Crysis to the water in Fallout 3. Some ripples don't compensate for the blandness of Fallout 3's water compared to Crysis (or other games for that matter).

So, let's choose the best water ever in a game... Before you people bring over Crysis and Virtual Skipper, the best water means best looking and best interactivity (...)

For example, Mass Efect water looks good but objects pass through it without leaving any ripples or something!

So for me, the best water effects is.....
(...)
Starfox Adventures for Gamecube!

I agree with you whorenraged.
The Starfox Adventures
(GC) would be my favorite as well.
Other than that I would like to give props to Uncharted (PS3). I really enjoy the water effects in that game!

btw..
I like that fishing pond in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX

Obviously the water Gfxs is not in HD or anything, but it has charm to it and serves it's purpose. :D

Yeah. Finally someone that understands me LOL

Talking about portables I like New Super Mario Bros Water :D
