I would say its Kameo's Water, because it had really cool physics (even the waterdrops had physics!) and looked very good.

The most impressive water I've ever seen (taking time into account, so old games have a chance) was in Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, on the PS2.

Their water was amazing for the time, and on the weakest console of the day.

Despite all its faults, Lair's water was actually really good as well.

yep crysis wins again and that uncharted water pic is from a cutscene that doesnt count even when its realtime engine but crysis wins either way

That's funny I hated how the water looked in Kameo, it was more a short of jelly liquid.

I agree with shio Crysis easily wins.

I agree with you whorenraged.
The Starfox Adventures (GC) would be my favorite as well.
Other than that I would like to give props to Uncharted (PS3). I really enjoy the water effects in that game!

I like that fishing pond in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX
