Well the people have spoken... atleast 93 of them... the results for this poll surprized me, i dont know about you guys.
Here are the official results for "Poll: HD vs Wii" thread. This was to see if Dev's of today knew something that we dont about developing for the Wii and why they say that the Wii is a fad, toy... and so on.

I asked people to choose what consoles they owned... the choises were:

A. I own one or both of the HD consoles and no Wii.

B. I own the Wii and no HD consoles.

C. I own the Wii and one or both HD consoles.

This was the perfect site to do this poll on since people here are educated on the games that they play, and the consoles they play them on.

On to the results:

A: 27

B:28

C:38

The resuls were interesting because the same amount of people that just owns the Wii as the people that own one or both the HD consoles... And from this informal poll i can conclude it might seem that the Dev's are wrong about the wii and its used base. :)

Interesting results:

This means from the people polled :

70.97% have a Wii
69.89% have at least one HD system

So it means Wii and HD are neck and neck among VGChartz users who answered the poll.

Yea its interesting, should indicate to SCO (single console owners) that there is a core market for both to exist. You don't need to beat the competition because not many people own 2 consoles anyway.

Well then I guess this time it is indeed ignorance on my part, but adding in "and saying the Wii doesn't count is just ignorant" gave the impression that he thought I was downplaying the Wii.

Still confused about one thing however.

From this poll how can we come to the conclusion that devs are wrong about the Wii's userbase? What are they wrong about?
