agreed there is so much replay value in halo 3 its insane and they just keep adding new life into it.  And ssj12 the key thing you said in there is UT3 on PC.  On PC sure there are tons of mods but you don't see stuff like this on home consoles every day you know.  Thats whats awesome about Bungie and Halo is that they are always innovating the FPS genre on home consoles no matter how much people like to hate on it.

I think you should more or less say "you dont see things like this on the 360" since the PS3 has it.

you got to be kidding me what does LBP have anything to do with the FPS genre?  LBP is amazing but it has nothing to do with the topic at hand.  Secondly Halo 3 has had user created content longer that UT3 on PS3, LBP and the future RTS game your talking about.  Not to mention the endless customization to gameplay variants, in game screenshots at any time, save film clips from campaign / single player, a steady stream of DLC maps, constant updates to the playlist hoppers online.  Every one loves to hate on Halo 3 but the fact is you'll be VERY hard pressed to find any game with the amount of stuff in it as Halo 3 especially with the FPS genre.

you cant but just simply buy the game off amazon.com, install it on any computer with Microsoft Windows XP and enjoy.

we arent just talking about the FPS genre... we are talking user created content in general.

well i was just going by what the OP is which is talking about Halo 3 DLC which is a FPS game. Thus why I didn't understand the LBP reference. I agree no game has the level of user content as LBP but remember Halo 3 came out a full year earlier than LBP and is still currently doing many things current FPS aren't doing. It just bugs me (and i'm not saying you do this) that people always refer to Halo 3 as mediocre when compare all the content and support from Bungie with any other FPS on home consoles and it clearly is the winner. Now the campaign in Halo 3, I'll agree that was VERY mediocre.

Sure forge wasn't nearly as awesome as it was back in the day as it is now, but it didn't stop people's creativity.

UT3 was still a port of the PC version which means it has been in development just as long or longer. So really you should be comparing the PC version's release versus Halo 3's since the user content for UT3 PS3 was just in limbo.
