First off, I just wanted to say that this post does not include any facts, just my opinions.
Now that I'm done saying that, how come Capcom is porting games to the Wii but not giving them sequels?
For example:
Wii: Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition
PS3/360: Resident Evil 5
Wii: Dead Rising CTYD
PS3/360: Dead Rising 2
Okay, that's only two games, and we don't know if Capcom is going to port Dead Rising 2 to Wii, (but let's be realistic about that idea), but did you notice they are both zombies games, too?
It's kind of like Capcom is saying to Wii owners:
"Hey Wii owners, do you like zombie games? Great, then I'll give you some that were from the other systems that you couldn't enjoy, (or enjoy more in Resident Evil 4's case). Well Wii owners, aren't they fun? They are? Well I have good news for you, then! We're going to make sequels to them, but here's the catch, they are going to be on the HD console, so if you want to continue playing your favorite series/genres, you have to buy a HD console now!"
Again, this is just my opinions on two of Capcom's multiplatform game choices. And sorry if I sounding synical or trollish, even.
Anyways, discuss.
Oh, and I'm not trying to make Capcom look like a bad guy, here, I'm just curious and wanted to discuss this. And it should be noted that the port version of Dead Rising for Wii won't be exactly as the 360.
