Sounds fun, but those visuals...bleh -_-

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

should we be excited or should we just die of disgust?
what is this game is it awesome or appalling?

Answers are appreciated.

It's been out since 2004/5 i believe on PC only in Korea. So i'm assuming that's why the visuals are outdated. This was one of my favs back in 94/95 for the snes.

The basics of it, is your a ship owner in the time of Columbus, recruiting mates and starting your own fleet. You can either be a trade ship or Warship depending on your style of play. You discover ports all over the world, set up trade routes with foreign kingdoms and increase your fame and fortune.

It's not for everyone obviously but in terms of gameplay and just nostalgic style from the way Koei use to make there games, (Aerobiz) I'd buy it day 1 if there was a western release..

The graphics are pretty dire, but it has "Uncharted" in the name, so it has to be good

Well, at least it has done something right...

I am sure most of you didn't even play this game in SNES or PC before.

This is an amazing game, i played this game in Japan beta before and i believe the game is roughly over 6-7 years old by now.

I am currently playing on Taiwanese server (because the japanese are JERKS, plain JERKS to anyone that aren't japanese. its easy for them to tell me apart even when i know japanese, and Koei is even worse jack off because they clear out "foreign players from the game by blocking their payments")

Of course, the graphic is going to be bad on Ps3, you aren't going to see the latest stuff all in 3d close up.

However, the game play itself is vast in many way that there will be no MMORPG coming close to have something this big.

The main point of the game is its story line, investing (your cash) to takeover control of ports and fight big battles of sea wars.

Then there is crafting and trading as merchant.

The exploring is also good because it use real human history as background.

Anyway, you got to be a very patient guy to play this game. It take up to 3 hour to travel with one of the FASTEST ship in the game from london to india, not to mention player pirates will come sink me once in awhile to loot my cargo.

The game play is interest, but uninteresting if no one even talk about it. One thing i love the game is its force PVP and trading, it takes a brain to earn in this game or brute force.
