It's kinda bullshitty but it's not a big deal.

this is alrdy posted...and I don't think it's BS if you look at what EDGE MAG gave to COD WAW,R2, FALLOUT 3 etc they gave these games 6-7 out of 10 their just harsh on reviewing games.

Both halo wars and killzone got a 7/10...heh.

Could it be possible that a magazine out there doesnt review production values of games...but the gameplay only?

I mean, lets tap looks like ass but it sure looks fun and innovative.

Fear 2, house of dead(other 8's on the list)....all these games(should) have great gameplay. But no one is making animated gifs with their graphics so they can't be better than killzone 2 right...

Edge usually love innovative games and great stories. Edge never put any emphasis on graphics which is arguably Killzone 2's strong point. Without the graphics, Killzone 2 would be just another shooter with good gameplay.

As far as I can tell, the story and voice acting are poor compared to games like Half Life 2, Bioshock and Fear and there is little innovation.

Edge themselves have claimed that the scores mean very little - people should read the reviews and decide for themselves. 7 means the game is good - Killzone 2 is good.

I'm more concerned with the fact that they gave Deadly Creatures a 5 (average). Perhaps I'll save my money for something better.

Edge also said House of the Dead: Overkill > Killzone 2 and Halo Wars
