I have been a long time Nintendo fan since i first got a Nes for Christmas when i was young. I drifted away from Nintendo after the N64 and ventured off into the Dreamcast and Xbox. I'm sad to say that i had so much doubt the Wii would make such an impact I now stand corrected.

I really can't wait to get a Wii in the coming months and I'm happy to see it in first place.

I am currently seeing the numbers at:

Wii

NA - 89,280
JP - 72,749
Other - 91,103
Total - 253,132

I think some of the confusion has to do with the numbers can come in a bit funky when you are updating as ioi is adding the data to the database.
